On September 11, 2024 the Government of India authorized ASHVINI, a subsidiary of NPCIL and JV between NPCIL & NTPC to Build, Own & Operate Nuclear Power Plants in India. ASHVINI is implementing four indigenous PHWRs of 700 MWe capacity each (4 x 700 MWe) at Mahi Banswara in the state of Rajasthan. |
